About DoOahu

DoOahu is a kamaʻāina-owned guide to the island's tours and experiences, connecting travelers directly with the local companies who run them.
Why we exist
Most activity sites are middlemen: they repackage tours, bury the operator's name, and take a cut so large the local company struggles to make the numbers work. We think there is a better way to show off this island.
DoOahu lists real tours at the operator's own prices and sends you to their own booking calendar to book. The operator keeps the customer relationship and the revenue; we may earn a small commission from them, and it is never added to what you pay.
Around the listings we are building the things we wish every visitor had: travel guides that say it straight, and a Trip Planner that turns “we love the water but hate crowds” into real, bookable days.
Book direct, always
Every booking happens on the operator's own live calendar, at their own rate. No markup, no repackaging, no mystery middleman.
Local first
Kamaʻāina owned and run. The guides and the planner say it straight - including when a famous spot is not worth your morning.
Respect the place
Mālama ʻāina guides the copy: honest notes on reservations, closures and capacity, and wildlife viewing kept at a respectful distance.
You pay the operator's own rate. Our commission comes from them, not you.
