Dole Plantation

Dole Plantation, on Kamehameha Highway in Wahiawa, began as a fruit stand and opened to the public as Hawaii's Pineapple Experience. Entry to the Visitor Center is free, and you pay for each attraction you choose: the Pineapple Express train, the Pineapple Garden Maze and the plantation gardens. The Pineapple Express is a fully narrated train ride. The maze has paths made from colorful Hawaiian plants, with secret stations to find inside, and the gardens show plants such as coffee, exotic fruit and cacao. Tickets are sold at the Train and Maze ticket booths, and sales end shortly before closing. The train and garden are wheelchair accessible, but the maze has gravel paths, and there are no wheelchairs on site to borrow. Group visits are temporarily unavailable.
