Private Surf Lessons

Private Surf Lessons pairs each participant with a dedicated instructor for one-on-one attention throughout the session. The lesson takes place in the water at Waikiki, and participants meet the instructor directly at the location. There is no hotel pickup, so arriving independently is necessary.

The format suits a range of people. Someone who feels less comfortable in the water gets focused support without the pressure of a group setting. A returning surfer who wants to push toward larger waves gets coaching tailored to that goal. Younger children who cannot yet paddle back on their own after each wave receive the close guidance that a shared lesson cannot provide.

Basic swimming ability is required before booking. The physical demand is moderate, so some comfort with physical activity in the water helps. Lessons run any day of the week, with flexible start times available across a broad window throughout the day.
