The Oahu Custom Private Charter lets a group design its own land tour of Oahu with a professional guide and an air-conditioned van or other vehicle. Groups can choose from any of Bike Hawaii's land adventures or opt for a scenic drive to see the island from a local's perspective. Stops can be made as often as the group likes. A popular route heads east in a half-circle around the island in the morning, though departure times are customizable.
The tour runs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and a minimum number of adults must be paid for to reserve the private charter. Meals are not included, but the group can stop at eateries along the way, and the guide has suggestions ready. Included with the tour are boxed waters, granola bars, mosquito repellant, rain ponchos, and hiking sticks. Because the tour is weather dependent, it is worth checking conditions before heading out.
