PADI Advanced Open Water Course

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course run by Dive Oahu takes certified divers further into the sport through a series of Adventure Dives spread across a weekend. The course covers specialty areas including Deep Diver, Underwater Navigation, Rescue Diver, Dive Against Debris, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. A classroom session on the first day is followed by boat charters on both days, giving participants time in the water under direct PADI Instructor supervision. The meeting point is in Honolulu.

This course suits divers who already hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification and are comfortable in the water. Physical health requirements apply, so anyone with medical concerns should review those before enrolling. The course runs at a moderate physical intensity, meaning a reasonable baseline of fitness and confident swimming ability is expected. No private option is available, as this runs as a group format course. Included in the course are eLearning materials, instructor supervision, boat charters, and scuba equipment.
