About this experience
The Pelagic (Cageless) Shark Dive departs from Haleiwa Harbor on Oahu's North Shore. After checking in and getting fitted for gear, guests board the boat and receive a safety briefing from the crew before reaching the dive site. Once there, participants enter the open ocean and snorkel alongside sharks without a cage, guided by trained safety divers who stay in the water throughout the session.
Guests float on the surface using fins, so expert swimming skills are not required. Snorkeling gear, mask, and fins are provided at no extra cost. Photography packages are available to purchase separately.
Participants should arrive early to complete check-in and any waivers. Children under a certain age must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Pregnant guests beyond a certain stage of pregnancy should not participate. Sharks are wild animals, so sightings vary by trip.
