Your 1.5-hour adventure starts by exploring where the bees do their daily work across this diverse property. After a thorough mini-beekeeping lesson, you'll slip into ventilated protective gear that keeps you comfortable and safe. Then comes the real magic: getting face-to-face with active hives as your guide carefully lifts frames heavy with intricate honeycomb. You'll see honey glistening in cells, colorful pollen stores, and even developing brood—the next generation of bees.

Watching these incredible insects up close reveals their complex social world in ways that photos simply can't capture. The architecture of their hives and their behavior patterns become fascinating once you understand what you're seeing.
