About this experience
This group surf lesson from Hawaii Surf Guru is built for complete beginners who want a genuine introduction to surfing on Oahu. The in-water portion covers paddling and surfing techniques under instructor guidance.
All necessary gear is included, covering a wetsuit top, booties, and a flotation vest if needed, along with a board selected to match each surfer's body type. Participants can also bring their own gear if they prefer. Storage for personal belongings is provided during the lesson.
Plan to arrive early to get fitted and stow personal items, because the lesson starts on time and latecomers may not be able to join. If the lesson starts late due to late arrivals, it will still end at the scheduled time. Wear sunscreen, as sunburn is still possible even in the early morning.
