Surf Coaching from Ike Kai School of Surfing LLC is a session built for intermediate to advanced surfers who want to sharpen specific skills. The coach works with the surfer one-on-one in the water, observing technique and offering live corrections as waves come through. Focus areas can include positioning, wave performance, ocean awareness, or competition preparation, depending on what the surfer wants to work on. Optional surf skate drills on land are also available, and the session closes with post-session advice to support continued progress.
The meeting location is confirmed before the session based on current surf conditions and the surfer's skill level, so participants should expect direct contact ahead of time. A rashguard is provided as an optional item to wear during the session. Transportation to the meeting spot is not included.
Participants should bring a towel, water, sunscreen, and board wax if bringing their own equipment. Prior surf experience is required, and surfers must be comfortable paddling out independently in moderate conditions.
