About this experience
The Ko'olau Distillery Whiskey Tour meets in Kailua on Oahu and takes place at Ko'olau Distillery, an active production facility where small-batch spirits are made. A guide from the distillery leads the narrated tour through each stage of whiskey production, covering mashing, fermenting, distilling, aging, and bottling. Guests also get a hands-on chance to bottle a whiskey themselves before the tour closes with a guided tasting of the distillery's handcrafted spirits.
After the tour, the tasting room and bar remain open for guests who want to keep exploring the lineup. A premium package is available at booking and includes a bottle of Old Pali Road Whiskey, a distillery shirt, and a rocks glass.
Because this is a working production facility, swimsuits are not allowed and guests must wear appropriate footwear and be fully dressed. The tour runs indoors and outdoors and is not affected by weather.
