Turtle Canyons Snorkel Excursion

The Turtle Canyons Snorkel Excursion departs from Kewalo Basin Harbor in Honolulu and heads out to Turtle Canyons, a reef site where Hawaiian green sea turtles gather to have their shells cleaned by local reef fish. Guides in the water help snorkelers spot marine life and assist anyone who wants a quick orientation before swimming. Guests who prefer to stay dry can watch from the boat, since turtles surface to breathe and are visible from onboard. On the return cruise, complimentary snacks, sodas, and juice are provided, and spinner dolphins and humpback whales may be visible from the boat during winter months.

All snorkeling equipment and snorkel vests are included. Guests should bring reef-safe sunscreen, a towel, sun-protective clothing, and a camera. Those prone to motion sickness can ask about seasickness bands and medication available at the dock before departure. Children under a certain age must be accompanied by an adult, and the trip is not recommended for pregnant travelers or those with heart conditions or serious medical conditions.
