About this experience
Mauka Warriors Luau takes place in Kapolei on Oahu and focuses on a side of Polynesian culture that most luaus overlook: the history of warriors and battle. The show travels through Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, and the Cook Islands through live music, traditional dance, and a fire-knife dance. Battle re-enactments and portrayals of warrior history give the evening a distinct focus.
The Koa Classic Package places guests in the rear seating section and includes a seashell lei greeting, complimentary digital photos, and an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian luau feast. Guests of drinking age receive a drink ticket. Before the main show, pre-show activities are open on the grounds, including hula lessons, headband weaving, hand-drawn tattoos, Maori poi ball lessons, Kava tasting, coconut cracking, and cooking demonstrations. Vegetarians should note their preference at checkout.
The venue offers complimentary on-site parking. Shuttle service runs from select Waikiki and Ko Olina locations. Bringing a light jacket is recommended. For light rain the show continues and ponchos are provided.
