About this experience
Sunset Paddle begins at the Anahulu River in Hale'iwa, on Oahu's North Shore. Participants paddle down the river on stand-up paddleboards, then follow the river mouth out to watch the sun drop over the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles move through the water to feed and rest for the evening, and fish are common sights as well. A spotted ray is possible too, though not certain.
No prior paddleboarding experience is needed. The session starts on land with an introduction to the equipment and a basic lesson before anyone gets on the water. The guide adjusts to any skill level, so complete beginners and more experienced paddlers can both take part.
Comfortable, casual paddling is the whole point.
