North Shore Surf Girls offers private and semi-private surf lessons off the North Shore of Oahu, with a dedicated instructor guiding students through the basics of getting on a board and catching waves.
Private lessons give a student one-on-one time with an instructor. Both formats cover safety fundamentals and core surfing techniques, and suit all skill levels, including those who have never stood on a board before. The setting stays small by design, making it a good fit for friends or couples looking to learn together.
Surfboards and surf shirts are included. Wetsuits and life jackets are available when needed. Students should bring a swimsuit or surf shorts, a towel, and reef-safe sunscreen without oxybenzone. Lessons meet at the North Shore Surf Girls location. The program welcomes participants starting from a young age, so families with children can join alongside adults.
