About this experience
The Group Surf Lesson by Oahu Surf and Skim School brings friends and family into the water together to learn surfing as a group. A certified instructor leads the class through safety guidelines, proper technique, and the mechanics of catching and riding waves. The instructor provides demonstrations and individualized instruction to help everyone in the group improve their skills.
The lesson gives participants the chance to practice standing up on a board and riding waves while the instructor watches and guides. As confidence grows, everyone gets to share the experience of riding waves alongside the people they came with, making this format a natural fit for families or groups of friends who want to try surfing together.
Bring water, board shorts, and sunscreen. A rash guard is worth packing if needed.
