About this experience
Magic Reef Shore Dive is a shore-based scuba diving experience run by Ola ParaDive on Oahu. No swimming or prior diving experience is required, making it open to complete beginners as well as certified divers looking to explore an offshore reef.
Beginners take part in a PADI Discovery Experience, starting with basic skills practice in shallow water before moving to greater depth. Certified divers join a single-tank guided tour, and the activity also works as a PADI refresher for anyone who has not dived in some time. The meeting point is Magic Island Park, though the final dive location depends on conditions on the day and is sent to participants by text or email before the trip.
Bring a towel, reef-friendly sunscreen, and water. Uncertified divers may not bring personal cameras or phones underwater, but a GoPro camera package is available to add at checkout. Certified divers are not subject to that camera restriction. The operator will reschedule to another location or time if weather conditions are not suitable on the day.
