About this experience
The ride departs from Palehua Road in Kapolei and follows ridge-line trails through the landscape of Oahu, with a stop for photos against a backdrop of ocean and mountains.
This tour is booked as a private experience for a group traveling together, making it a good fit for couples or families who want time away from a shared group setting. A guide leads the trail ride and also walks riders through parts of the landscape on foot. Helmets are provided and required for everyone.
Arriving early for check-in is necessary, as the itinerary includes signing a safety waiver, selecting a helmet, and attending a short safety demonstration before mounting. Horses are pre-assigned based on rider weight, and no changes to assignments are made after the fact. Gratuity is not included in the booking. Drinks are available for purchase on-site before and after the ride.
