About this experience
Riders follow a ridgeline trail guided by Palehua Trail Rides LLC staff, with views of the southern and western coastlines visible along the route. Cattle may be grazing on the rolling hills nearby.
The ride moves at a walking pace throughout, and the horses are selected to suit each rider ahead of time. Before heading out, guests attend a short safety demonstration and are fitted with a helmet, which is required and provided. Saddlebags are available to carry small personal items like phones and cameras. Near the end of the trail, the guide stops at a designated spot so riders can get complimentary photos taken. After returning, guests have the chance to feed the horses with guidance from staff.
This ride suits beginners and families with children old enough to participate. Riders must sign a safety waiver at check-in, and minors need a parent or guardian signature.
