Ready to take the plunge? This 1st time dive adventure Haleiwa opens up the North Shore's underwater world to beginners ages 10 and up—no certification required. Your three-hour private adventure accommodates up to four people, which works perfectly when some family members want to snorkel while others dive.
We'll take you to the best shore dive sites around Oahu's North Shore based on daily ocean conditions. Electric Beach, Turtle Canyon, and Sharks Cove are local favorites, each offering something special. You'll encounter tons of reef fish that you can only find in Hawaiian waters, plus the incredible marine life that makes diving here unforgettable—Hawaiian green sea turtles, moray eels, nudibranchs, and octopus. If you're lucky, Hawaiian monk seals or dolphins might make an appearance.
Your certified instructor handles everything from shore briefings to in-water guidance, using top-of-the-line equipment throughout your experience. All diving gear comes included, and we have prescription masks available if needed. Since every 1st time dive adventure Haleiwa is private, you get personalized attention tailored to your group's comfort level.
Before booking, you'll complete a medical questionnaire, and remember the golden rule: no flying for 24 hours after diving. Your adventure includes professional instruction, an in-water guide, and all equipment. Just bring reef-safe sunscreen (apply it before you arrive), water, and gratuity for the crew. Wear your bathing suit and you're set. Photos and videos are available for an additional cost to capture these first diving memories.
