This private stand-up paddleboarding experience pairs guests with a rescue dog that has been trained specifically for SUP. The tour runs on the North Shore of Oahu and meets at Blue Planet Adventure in Haleiwa, on Kamehameha Highway.
The activity is rated easy and suits paddlers of any skill level, from complete beginners to those with experience on the water. Basic swimming ability is required. The tour is run as a private charter, keeping the group small throughout.
Included in the experience are full SUP board rentals, paddleboarding instruction, the trained rescue dog, treats for the dog, and photos and video taken during the session. Guests should arrive already wearing a swimsuit and bring sunscreen, a towel, a change of clothes, a drink, and a rash guard. Hats and sunglasses are welcome but may be lost if they fall into the water.
