Na Opio Kai Programs is a youth program run by Wai Kai at Ewa Beach on Oahu. The program brings together water activities including paddling, surfing, sailing, and AquaVenture, along with cultural education and lunch, giving children a full day of learning and camaraderie on the water.
Check-in takes place at the Surfside Lawn with Na Opio Kai staff. Parents, guardians, or authorized persons must bring ID at pickup. Children should be prepared to wear sunscreen and sun protection throughout the day. Wai Kai provides sunscreen, so families do not need to pack their own, though reef-safe sunscreen is welcome if preferred. Because kids go in and out of the water, a long-sleeve rash guard or wetsuit top is recommended to help them stay comfortable.
