About this experience
The Surfside Cabana Rental at Wai Kai gives small groups a shaded, semi-private space to relax beside the Wai Kai Lagoon in Ewa Beach on Oahu. Cabanas are available in two sizes to fit different group configurations, and rentals are booked by the hour, so the experience can be shaped around however long a visit makes sense.
Each cabana has trellis walls that allow air to move through from all sides, an overhead fan, and a solid roof that blocks sun and handles unexpected weather. Privacy curtains let guests close off the space when they want more seclusion. A Bluetooth sound system and a monitor showing a live video feed of the Wai Kai Wave are also included, along with WiFi access and sofa seating throughout.
Check-in takes place at Guest Services inside the Sessions Retail Shop. Outside food and beverages are not allowed, though reusable water bottles are fine. Balloons, streamers, confetti, glitter, and single-use decorations are prohibited on the property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. The cabana is stroller and wheelchair accessible.
