About this experience
The lesson begins with safety instruction on the beach, then moves into the water with a licensed, CPR-certified instructor who holds Waikiki Beachboy certification. Because the check-in counter sits right at the beach, there is no long walk to the water and no carrying equipment.
The lesson suits beginners and those with some experience, as instructors tailor the session to the participants' skill level. A surfboard and rash guard are provided. Towels, reef-safe sunscreen, and swimwear should be brought along. Participants must be able to swim and comfortable being submerged underwater. Those who are pregnant or have prior neck or back injuries should not take part.
Check in at the service counter before the scheduled start time. An electronic liability waiver is required for all participants and a link arrives in the confirmation email. Photos and video of the session are available for purchase separately.
