Ready to take your surfing to the next level? This advanced lesson with School Surf and Sun is designed for wave riders who want to learn essential longboarding skills. With just 2 students per instructor during the 2-hour session, you'll receive the focused attention needed to master key techniques—including how to hang ten.
Your expert instructor will teach you to catch your own waves while learning the fundamentals of turning on a wave. You'll develop proper positioning and footwork while building confidence in the water through personalized instruction.
This comprehensive training focuses on advancing your surfing skills, covering the techniques you need to progress as a longboarder. Your instructor guides you through each maneuver, helping you develop the abilities to catch waves independently and execute turns with greater skill.
The lesson emphasizes building on existing surfing knowledge to master these essential longboarding maneuvers. You'll practice the skills that will help you advance your surfing and take it to the next level.
Open to participants ages 15 and older, sessions from $250 per person. Essential reef shoes and rash guard are included, though bringing your own long-sleeve rash guard offers better sun protection during the 2-hour ocean session. Don't forget your own sunscreen! The school maintains a flexible cancellation policy—full refunds with 24 hours notice when you contact them by phone, though no-shows will be charged the full price.
