Sunset Booze Cruise

The Sunset Booze Cruise is a private boat rental run by Big Kahuna Water Sports that takes a group out onto Maunalua Bay, near Hawaii Kai on Oahu, to watch the sunset or cruise around and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Guests meet the operator at the Hawaii Kai fishing charter location. No hotel pickup is provided, and the operator can be reached by phone with any questions. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, and a cooler with ice is included on board. A guide accompanies the trip throughout. Discover Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving is a half-day boat charter run by Big Kahuna Water Sports, meeting at Maunalua Bay on Oahu. No prior experience is needed and no classroom work is required. All rental gear is included, and camera rentals are available on request. A PADI certified instructor supervises each dive, and the experience counts as credit toward a PADI Open Water Certification. The trip suits first-time divers and beginners curious about the underwater world. Before going, participants should be in good general health and must sign a waiver. Advanced Boat Dive

The boat heads out to a rotating mix of dive sites that can include shipwrecks, wall dives, drift dives, cave dives and reef dives, so no two trips are the same. The first tank goes to the deeper site, and the second is shallower, often a reef, wall or drift dive. Participants must be in good general health, and anyone with medical or physical restrictions must declare them at the time of reservation. A certification card is required. If personal gear is unavailable, Scubapro rental equipment covers mask, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD, dive computer, regulator and fins. Camera rentals are also available. Bring swimming attire, reef-friendly sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. All participants sign a waiver before the trip. Private charter options are available by phone. The boat departs from a dock directly behind the operator's full-service dive shop and gear rental room at the Hawaii Kai marina.

Turtle snorkle & Observers

This half-day reef outing with Big Kahuna Water Sports departs from Maunalua Bay in Hawaii Kai and heads out by boat to a reef site where turtles frequent the area. Dolphins have also been known to come up alongside the boat. A PADI certified instructor leads the trip and covers everything participants need to know before entering the water, including mask clearing, fin technique, ear equalization and basic hand signals. All rental snorkel gear is included, and camera rentals can be arranged on request. Participants should be in good general health, and anyone with medical or physical conditions must declare them at the time of reservation. The trip is not recommended for pregnant women, elderly guests or those with disabilities. All participants sign a waiver. Pack a towel, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit and snacks or water. Motion sickness medication is worth considering before boarding.
