The trip heads out to snorkel with Hawaiian Sea Turtles and assorted tropical fish. Dolphins, Hawaiian Monk Seals, octopus, and flying fish may also appear, and whales are possible in season. After snorkeling, the boat sails back to Kewalo Harbor, weather permitting. All snorkeling and safety equipment is provided, including coast guard approved flotation devices in multiple styles to suit every level of swimmer. Child-specific equipment and flotation devices come at no extra charge, making this a practical option for families. Water, soda, juice, light snacks, and reef safe sunscreen upon request are also included. Plan to arrive at the harbor early for check-in at Pier A, the first boat. Bring a bathing suit, towel, and reef safe non-spray sunscreen. If no turtles are spotted, guests can rebook a similar trip or receive a refund, though the turtle sighting decision rests with the captain, and refund eligibility depends on how the booking was made.

The company operates two types of outings: a reef snorkeling trip focused on encountering Hawaiian sea turtles, and an evening cruise timed to the sunset.
The snorkeling trip takes passengers out on the Kahala Kai, a catamaran built in Hawaii, to look for sea turtles in the waters around Waikiki. The sunset cruise follows the light show of the setting sun and then the glow of Waikiki's shore as seen from the water. That cruise keeps its passenger count well below the vessel's Coast Guard capacity and includes an appetizer spread with a charcuterie board, hummus, fresh Hawaiian pineapple and other fruits, vegetables, chips, and cookies. Guests may bring their own beverages.
