Circle Island Tour
The Circle Island Tour picks up from Waikiki hotels and resorts in the morning, then loops around Oahu with stops at Diamond Head, the Halona Blowhole, Makapu'u Lookout, the Historic Pali Lookout, Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut Farm, a shrimp stop at Tanaka Kahuku, a North Shore beach with time for snorkeling and turtle watching, Historic Haleiwa Town, and Dole Plantation. A bathroom break with free coffee is included along the route, and bottled water is provided. Transportation runs in an air-conditioned, high-roofed Ford Transit that holds a small number of passengers, keeping the experience intimate and personal. A private black SUV is also available for smaller parties. Pickup and drop-off at Waikiki are included, so no separate travel arrangements are needed at the start or end of the trip. Because the tour is weather dependent, conditions on the day may affect the itinerary, so it is worth keeping that in mind when planning.
About
Tours start from Waikiki hotels and resorts, making them straightforward to join for visitors staying in that area.
The company uses hand-selected vehicles that hold a limited number of passengers, which the listing describes as creating an intimate, personable experience of the island. A private black SUV is also available for smaller groups who prefer a more exclusive arrangement.
Tours are conducted in English. The company states that it wants travelers to have a good experience in Hawaii without paying the high prices the destination is known for. The circle island tour runs as an all-day trip, giving travelers time to take in a broad look at Oahu. These tours suit people who prefer a smaller group setting over a larger group format and who are staying in Waikiki, where the tour originates.
