Cacao Farm Tour & Chocolate Tasting

Guides lead visitors through the farm, pointing out seasonal flowers and fruits along the way, and share the land's agricultural history, including many of the original canoe crops brought to Hawaii by early voyagers.

The tasting portion takes place in a shaded pavilion, where guides explain how cacao is processed after harvest, how chocolate is made, and what shapes its flavors and textures. Samples include all the chocolates grown on the farm, plus other Hawaii-grown and Hawaii-made craft chocolate to show the range of local flavors.

Young children can explore wide-open farm spaces, and those who want can cuddle the baby mini-goats on the property. Anyone drawn to fruit, flowers, chocolate or farming history will find plenty to engage with throughout the visit. The meeting point is in Kaneohe.
