Beginner/Refresher Dive - Electric Beach

Electric Beach sits along Oahu's coast where a power plant flow pipe releases warm water onto the reef, drawing fish and sea turtles to the area. This dive is designed for first-timers and uncertified divers, as well as anyone who has not been in the water for a while and wants to get back into scuba diving.

An instructor then walks participants through each piece of gear, explaining what it does and how to use it. The first time in the water is spent at the surface practicing breathing, equalization, and other foundational skills. Once those are solid, a PADI-certified instructor leads a guided dive along the reef.

Basic swimming ability is required, and the activity is rated easy in difficulty with moderate physical intensity. The tour is weather dependent, and those who are pregnant are not able to participate.
