Hawaiian Waterfall Hike at Manoa Falls

This guided hike takes visitors through the Manoa Valley rainforest on Oahu to reach Manoa Falls, a tall waterfall deep in the valley. The trail is a round-trip dirt and gravel path with some rocks and roots, rated mild to moderate in difficulty. Sections can be muddy and slippery when wet, so closed-toe shoes with good traction are required. Water output at the falls varies depending on recent rainfall. The tour departs early in the morning, giving hikers a chance to reach the trail before the day progresses.

Pickup is available in Waikiki via an air-conditioned shuttle, so no need to arrange separate transportation to the trailhead. Along the trail, hikers cross streams and pass through lush tropical vegetation before arriving at the falls, where snacks are eaten. Children and adults are both welcome on this outing.
