Paddle Rentals

Paddle Rentals by Blue Planet Adventure Company is based in Haleiwa on Oahu and lets guests choose a stand-up paddleboard or a single or double kayak, launching directly from the operator's river deck without lifting any gear. Staff are on hand to help with check-in and to give basic instructions on request.

From the river deck, paddlers can head upstream along the Anahulu River through a meandering stretch that passes fresh water springs, a rope swing, mangrove trees, a taro farm and waterfront homes, continuing until the water grows too shallow to paddle further. Heading the other way leads past Rainbow Bridge and into Haleiwa Bay, where a small sandy beach is available for swimming and sunbathing. The rental period gives enough time to explore both directions without feeling rushed.

All equipment is included: board or kayak, paddle, leash and life jacket. Shower, changing room, bathroom, drinking fountain and a lounge area are also provided on site. Participants must be able to swim if separated from their equipment and must sign a liability waiver before paddling.
