Shirts and shoes are required at the memorial, and swimwear is not permitted. Large bags are not allowed inside the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, though storage is available there for a fee. From Pearl Harbor, the tour continues north through the Historic Dole Plantation and along the North Shore, passing Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay, with photo stops at Haleiwa Beach Park and Kawela Bay. The route then winds east past the Laie Hawaii Temple and Chinaman's Hat before stopping at a macadamia nut farm and Nu'uanu Pali Lookout. The return leg traces the east shoreline through Waimanalo, Makapu'u, Sandy Beach, and the Halona Blowhole. A lunch stop is included, with the meal at the traveler's own expense.
