West Oahu Deluxe Whale Watch Sail

This afternoon sail departs from Waianae Harbor and travels along the west coast of Oahu on a barefoot sailing vessel. The crew delivers educational narration about humpback whale migration and behavior during the trip. If no whales appear, the operator invites guests back for another sail at no additional charge. A full premium bar with tropical cocktails, beer, wine, soda, and juice is included, along with light snacks served on board.

The crew handles all aspects of the vessel so guests can focus on watching for whales. Seating includes both shaded and open-air areas, and restrooms are available on board. Complimentary parking is available at the harbor.

Plan to arrive early enough to check in and board before the vessel departs, as boarding closes before departure. Look for the Hawaii Nautical sign at the slip to find the meeting point. Bring sunglasses, a hat, and reef-safe sunscreen applied before boarding. Spray sunscreens are not permitted on the vessel. A camera is handy for capturing whale activity along the way.
