Pelagic Shark Dive

The Pelagic Shark Dive takes guests out of Haleiwa on Oahu aboard a center-console monohull to encounter sharks in open ocean water. The boat heads offshore, and participants enter the water to spend time alongside these animals. A guide enters the water first and stays until all guests are back on board. The tour also includes information about the importance of sharks to the ecosystem. Private charters are available for those who prefer a dedicated trip, and passengers who want to ride along without diving can join at a reduced rate.

This tour is rated difficult and carries a high physical intensity, so confident swimmers are the right fit. It is not open to those who are pregnant. No food or drinks are provided, so bringing personal snacks and water is a practical step. Participants should arrive with swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and a camera. Hotel pickup is not offered, so arriving independently at the departure point is required. The trip runs daily across a range of start times and is subject to weather conditions.
