Advanced Surf Lesson

This lesson from Ike Kai School of Surfing LLC is built for experienced surfers who already know the basics and want to sharpen what they have. Instructors tailor each session to the individual, working on wave timing, positioning, cutbacks, snaps, floaters, speed generation, and reading currents and conditions for smarter wave selection. The session meets at either Puaena Point Beach Park or Chuns Reef Beach on the north shore of Oahu, with the exact location confirmed before the lesson based on surf conditions that day.

A surfboard and rash guard are provided, so there is no need to bring equipment. Reef shoes are optional but can be useful. Bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and water. If a life jacket is preferred, let the operator know in advance. This lesson suits surfers who are past the beginner stage and are ready to develop more control, precision, and confidence on more demanding waves.
