About This Experience

There's nothing quite like the thrill of swimming alongside wild dolphins in their natural habitat, and the AʻO HAWAIʻI - Swim with Dolphin (EN) Honolulu adventure delivers exactly that magic. This 4-hour ocean excursion takes you to the pristine waters off Oahu's West Coast aboard a spacious 40-passenger double-hulled catamaran built for both comfort and stability.

As you cruise through the crystal-clear waters of West Oahu, you'll search for wild dolphin pods that swim gracefully in groups both small and large. The comprehensive marine wildlife encounter offers opportunities to observe Hawaiian spotted dolphins and Hawaiian bottlenose dolphins up close. Hawaiian spinner dolphins can be watched from the required 50-yard distance in accordance with Marine Mammal Protection Act regulations. Keep your eyes peeled for Hawaiian green turtles gliding through the water, vibrant tropical island fish, and other rare marine creatures that call these waters home.

Winter months bring an extra bonus—humpback whales making their annual migration through West Oahu waters. The return journey treats you to spectacular views of the cascading Waianae Mountain range as you cruise back to harbor.

Your AʻO HAWAIʻI - Swim with Dolphin (EN) Honolulu experience comes complete with all essential snorkeling equipment: mask, fins, snorkel gear, and life vests. You'll also enjoy a special Hawaiian lunch featuring Kalua Pork and Cabbage Bowl with sweet potato, beverages, water, and a journey souvenir. Round-trip shuttle service is provided exclusively for Waikiki and Ko Olina area accommodations, while guests from other locations meet directly at the harbor.

Starting from $159 per person for children and $179 for adults, participants should bring swimwear, towels, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Wetsuit rentals are available for an additional $10 for adults and $5 for children. While we actively search for marine wildlife, sightings cannot be guaranteed since these are wild animals in their natural habitat.
