About this experience
The Ohana Bodyboard Lesson from Jamie O'Brien School of Surf is a semi-private wave-riding lesson designed for families, couples, and small groups who want a fun introduction to bodyboarding together. The lesson starts and ends at the school's surf shop on the ground floor of the Twin Fin Hotel on Kalakaua Avenue in Honolulu. A dedicated instructor works with each small group, teaching basic techniques and helping everyone get comfortable catching waves in the ocean.
Secure lockers are available to store belongings during the lesson. Guests should arrive early to check in before their session begins. Valet parking at the Twin Fin Hotel is an option, or self-parking is available at the Honolulu Zoo, a short walk down Kalakaua Avenue to the shop.
Ocean conditions may affect the lesson location or schedule. Guests who are prone to motion sickness may want to take medication beforehand. Those who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away for safety reasons.
