Start your day the island way with warm Leonard's malasadas before heading to Oahu's North Shore on this epic waterfall & chocolate day in Honolulu. At Laniakea Beach, you'll spot honu (green sea turtles) basking on the sand while surfers ride perfect waves just offshore.
The real magic happens at Waimea Valley & Falls, where a spectacular 45-foot waterfall plunges into a swimming hole surrounded by botanical gardens. Jump in for a refreshing swim, float peacefully in the natural pool, or simply capture the perfect photo. Life jackets are provided and required for all water activities. Not feeling the 20-minute walk? Take the convenient 5-minute tram ride up, then stroll back down through the lush gardens at your own pace. Trams and scooters are also available for those needing easier access.
After working up an appetite, grab lunch from North Shore food trucks serving everything from garlic shrimp plates to fresh fish tacos (not included in tour price). Then dive into Oahu's sweet side at Waialua Estate Cacao & Coffee Farm, where you'll discover the bean-to-bar chocolate-making process while sampling artisanal treats and sipping locally grown coffee. The North Shore Macadamia Nut Farm adds another layer of island flavors with complimentary nuts.
Your waterfall & chocolate day wraps up with stops in historic Haleiwa town for shopping and pristine Waimea Bay, with chances to grab fresh fruit or shave ice along the way.
This 7-8 hour adventure welcomes ages 1-101 in small groups of 14 people maximum, traveling in comfortable Toyota Sienna XLE or Ford Transit 350 vehicles. Your tour includes Waimea Valley & Falls entrance fees (normally $25), all farm tours, Leonard's malasadas, and sampling opportunities. Just bring swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and lunch money. Water shoes are optional but helpful.
