This surf camp features a smart schedule: two days of intensive lessons, one rest day, then two more days to build on those skills. It's Monday-Tuesday, off Wednesday, then Thursday-Friday by example. This gives a day of rest between the two back-to-back surf days. Each morning session runs from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with instructors choosing the best surf spot the day before based on conditions. Of course, weather can change overnight, so locations stay flexible and might switch that morning if needed. What makes this program special is how it welcomes everyone – first-time groms getting their feet wet alongside more experienced young surfers refining their technique. From the first day to the final day, classes are catered to the group regardless of ages and levels. Beginners start on soft-top foam boards, which are forgiving and safe, while advanced kids can work on both shortboarding and longboarding skills. If a beginner shows real progress, they might graduate to a hard-top board during those final two sessions. All equipment comes included in the price, though bringing a rashguard or wetsuit top is recommended since trade winds can make you feel cold. Hawaii water temperature is not cold year-around – our breezy trade winds can be the culprit. The goal is gaining confidence and ocean understanding on these 4 days while passing on the lifetime stoke for surfing with the kids.
