Magic Reef Night Dive

Magic Reef Night Dive departs from Kewalo Basin Harbor in Honolulu, with check-in at the Magic Island Parking Lot. The dive takes place on Oahu reefs and focuses on bioluminescence visible after dark. Each participant receives flashlights and a briefing on safety precautions specific to the night dive sites before entering the water.

The tour is open to certified open water divers, including those who have never completed a night dive before. First-timers can sign up as an Adventure Diver and receive additional coaching from the instructor above and below the surface. Transportation to the meeting point is not included, so arrange your own way there.

Bring a towel and water. Avoid flying or traveling to high altitude for a set period after the dive. Arrive on time, as there is a short grace period before a late arrival is treated as a no-show and rescheduling charges apply.
