We've structured the course around three key components that build your skills progressively. Knowledge Development happens at home over 3-4 days using PADI materials—complete this before moving forward. Next comes Confined Water Training at Magic Island, where you'll master essential skills in a controlled environment while reviewing what you've learned.
The real magic happens during Section 3's open water dives. Depending on conditions, we'll take you to the best spots on Oahu's North, West, or South shores—whether that's from the beach or by boat. Weather drives our decisions, ensuring you experience optimal diving conditions every time.
Once certified, you can rent gear at any dive shop globally and explore underwater worlds wherever your travels take you. The final exam fits into any of the three sections based on our monthly schedule.

This PADI Open Water Diver Course - 2 Days Honolulu experience starts from $649 per student for the Electronic-Learning Package, which includes the Open Water Certification Platinum Package plus PADI's electronic learning materials. We'll email and text you dive locations based on predicted conditions, and Ola ParaDive may reschedule training due to weather. Late arrivals get a 15-minute grace period, while no-shows or late arrivals face a $75 rescheduling fee per participant.
