Shark Dive (Snorkel with Sharks)

This experience with One Ocean Diving takes participants offshore from a meeting point on Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa, Oahu, to snorkel alongside sharks and other marine life. The trip is built around marine research and conservation, so guides share information about the biology, physiology, and behavior of the animals encountered in the water. Participants may also contribute to ongoing conservation-focused research during the outing.

From the boat, snorkelers may encounter turtles, dolphins, large schools of fish, whales, and sharks. Every participant must sign a liability waiver before boarding. Anyone over a certain weight or with physical health considerations should contact the operator in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Minors whose parents or guardians will not be present at the harbor should also reach out ahead of time so the operator can send the waiver for a parent or guardian to sign and bring along.

Optional add-ons include a GoPro of the dive and a professional photography package, which includes an underwater photographer who will also help with personal camera settings if desired.
