Haumea's Quest is a self-guided video scavenger hunt set in Waikiki that challenges groups to solve puzzles and complete tasks inspired by Hawaiian mythology and the lore of the Menehune. Teams work through a mix of information, photo, and video challenges scattered around the area, and the video tasks make up the bulk of the experience. Those might involve inventing a secret handshake, acting as weather reporters while teammates mime battling the wind, or playing slow-motion tag, with bonus points on offer for creative effort.

The game begins with a short tutorial before the timed play period starts. Bonus or shorter play times can be arranged on request at no added cost. Meals, transport, and gratuity are not included. The difficulty is rated easy and the physical intensity moderate, so participants should be comfortable moving around on foot. No guide accompanies the group, so the team navigates and solves everything together.
