About this experience
Snorkel with Turtles departs from a marina in Honolulu and heads out into Maunalaua Bay, away from the busier Waikiki area. Once the boat ties up to a mooring, guides enter the water with the group and point out where to find Hawaiian sea turtles and other reef wildlife. All snorkeling equipment is included, flotation devices are available, and a floating pad lets anyone take a break from swimming. Guides carry extra flotation for weaker swimmers, and basic snorkeling instruction is provided for first-timers. Light snacks and water are served on the return trip, and the guide discusses what the group encountered in the water.
Participants should bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and a water bottle. GoPros are available to rent separately, and gratuity is not included in the price.
