Group Paddelboarding Lessons

The North Shore has a way of pulling people in - and group paddleboarding lessons in Haleiwa are one of the better ways to actually be part of it rather than just drive through. Sunset Suzy runs sessions daily at 10 am, 12 pm, and 2:30 pm, so it's easy to fit around a morning on the North Shore before heading out to explore.

The setup works well for groups. One surf instructor handles every 3-4 students, which means you're getting real feedback, not just a safety briefing and a wave goodbye. Lessons are open from age 3 up, so families don't have to split off and coordinate around different experiences - everyone gets on the water together. Pricing steps down as your group gets bigger: from $65 per person, depending on group size (rates apply from age 3 up).

All the gear is sorted - Stand Up Paddle board, leash, paddle, rash guard lycras, and instruction are included. Bring a towel and sunscreen and you're good to go.

Haleiwa is a natural anchor for a full North Shore day, and the lesson fits cleanly into the middle of that kind of day.

On cancellations: 24 hours' notice gets you a full refund or credit. If Sunset Suzy cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you'll receive the same. No-shows are charged the full amount, so if plans shift, get in touch ahead of time.
