This beginner surf lesson from Uncle Bryan's Sunset Suratt Surf Academy takes place in the calm, warm waters on the North Shore side of Oahu. The lesson is designed for people who have never surfed before or who are still learning to catch waves on their own. A surfboard, leash, and rash guard are all provided.
Participants join a group session with other learners, and instruction is personalized throughout. The physical demand is moderate, and basic swimming ability is required before booking. The goal is for each participant to experience the thrill of riding waves, and the setting on Oahu's North Shore gives the lesson a local flavor that the academy emphasizes.
The academy describes its knowledge of the ocean and its commitment to teaching as central to what it offers. Surfing alongside others in a group format keeps the session social, and the personalized instruction means each participant gets attention suited to where they are in their learning.
We do not take your payment or set prices, and no operator pays for placement here. What changes is who holds your booking, not what you pay.
