Helicopter Diving Certification

This experience combines a helicopter jump with a scuba dive and awards a PADI Helicopter Diver certification upon completion. No prior diving experience is required. The day begins at Trident Adventures' shop near Aloha Tower in Honolulu, where participants complete paperwork, sign waivers, and attend a safety briefing. A bus then transports the group to the flight line, where rehearsals cover proper exit techniques, safety protocols, and dive planning before the helicopter departs on a scenic route to the drop zone. After entering the water, a boat meets participants for the scuba portion before returning to the harbor. The bus takes everyone back to the shop to wrap up the day.

The certification level determines what equipment is worn for the jump. Participants should bring a bathing suit or clothing suited to getting wet, along with a towel. GoPro footage of the jump and dive is available for an additional fee. Parking is available at Aloha Tower Marketplace in the gated lot directly out front, and a parking fee is payable at the lot exit after the experience concludes.
