About this experience
Participants check in at the beach service counter before the lesson begins with a safety briefing and land instruction on the sand, then move into the water for hands-on surfing time with a dedicated instructor. All instructors are lifeguard and CPR certified.
No prior surfing experience is needed, and instructors can tailor the session to each person's level. A surfboard and rash guard are provided; participants should bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and swimwear. Everyone must be comfortable swimming and being submerged underwater. Pregnant participants and anyone with prior neck or back injuries cannot take part. All participants must complete an electronic liability waiver before the activity, and a link arrives in the confirmation email. Photos and video are available to purchase separately.
