About this experience
The lesson begins with safety instruction on the beach, then moves into the water for hands-on surfing time with a licensed, CPR-certified instructor. A surfboard and rash guard are provided, so no outside equipment is needed.
The lesson suits beginners and those with some experience, as instructors tailor the session to the group's skill level. Participants must be able to swim and feel comfortable being submerged. Anyone who is pregnant or has a prior neck or back injury should not participate.
Check in at the service counter near the waterline before the lesson starts. Bring swimwear, a towel and reef-safe sunscreen. Leave valuables in a secure spot, as storage for them is not available on site. All participants must complete an electronic liability waiver, which arrives by email after booking.
