Meeting at the iconic Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Kalākaua Avenue, your group will start with a comprehensive 15-minute safety briefing right on the beach. Your licensed instructor covers essential techniques and ocean safety protocols before you spend one full hour in the water, practicing under expert guidance. All our Beachboys are CPR and lifeguard certified, plus licensed by the state of Hawaiʻi—ensuring you learn from instructors whose knowledge runs generations deep.
We provide everything you need: surfboards and rash guards for each participant. Your certified instructor works exclusively with your trio, offering personalized feedback and encouragement as you progress from catching your first wave to building real confidence on the board. This private surf trio (3 people) Honolulu lesson welcomes ages 13 and older, though all participants must demonstrate basic swimming ability. We don't recommend this experience for pregnant women or guests with prior neck or back injuries. Starting from $115 per person, just check in 10-15 minutes before your scheduled lesson time.
Bring towels, sunscreen, and appropriate swimwear—face masks are required until you enter the water. Remember that cancellation requests need to be submitted 48 hours in advance for a full refund.
